Wealthsimple just announced a new product launch: Wealthsimple Crypto. The company has been greatly expanding their product offerings recently. What once started out as just Wealthsimple Invest has now become Wealthsimple Trade, Simpletax, Wealthsimple Cash, and now Wealthsimple Crypto.
This product kind of caught me by surprise at first but once I dug into the details it started to make more sense. Wealthsimple has built a brand around breaking down barriers and they are looking to do the same for cryptocurrencies.
Wealthsimple Crypto will be launched as a new feature added to the Wealthsimple Trade app which will allow you to trade Bitcoin and Etherium - the two largest cryptocurrencies.
There is currently a sign up available to join the waitlist for the launch. It seems they want to roll the product out slowly and carefully to make sure it goes smoothly.
