Job Description:

As a Patient Relation Officer at Medplus in Hyderabad, you will be the first point of contact for patients, ensuring they have a pleasant and efficient experience at our facility. Your role will involve managing patient interactions, scheduling appointments, and handling administrative tasks to support the smooth operation of the clinic.


Responsibilities:

Warmly welcome patients and escort them to examination rooms.
Schedule patient appointments and provide reminders to prevent missed appointments at Medplus.
Keep patients informed of any delays and waiting times.
Gather and update patients' personal information, insurance details, and medical history at every visit.
Assist patients in completing necessary paperwork, including history forms, consent forms, and payment contracts.
Collect payments for medical services, processing cash and credit card transactions efficiently at Medplus.
Review patient accounts, identify delinquent accounts, and collect overdue payments.
Respond to patient inquiries or complaints and escalate them to the appropriate medical staff if necessary.
Follow up with patients to ensure their issues have been resolved satisfactorily.
Perform administrative and clerical duties, such as filing paperwork and maintaining records.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in customer service or a healthcare setting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and medical staff at Medplus.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage appointments and administrative tasks.
