Victoria Memorial Gallery : 10.00 AM - 6.00 PM (Monday and designated National Holidays Gallery remains closed)
The Gardens : 5.30 AM - 6.00 PM (All days open)

Nearest Airport: Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport, Kolkata
Nearest Railway junctions: Howrah & Sealdah,
Nearest Metro station- Maidan
Buses from sealdah- S3B, S7, 7D, 227, 260 etc.
Buses from Howrah- S7, NS8, AC6, AC-24, S10A, AC12 etc.
Taxi, App Cabs also available.
Tickets:
Indians: Per head per entry ticket is i) Museum with Garden Rs. 30/-, ii) Garden Rs. 20/-.
Foreigners (For Nationals of SAARC Countries): Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka (on production of Passport) - The entry fee to the museum is Rs. 100/-(per head).
Nationals of all other countries: - The entry fee to the museum is Rs. 500/-(per head).
Annual rate for Morning Walkers : Rs.1,000/- for Senior Citizens (above 60 years) and Rs.2,000/- for others.
Note: i) Ticket counter closes half an hour before the closure of galleries
ii) Free admission to school students up to Class XII in uniform and with School ID; differently-abled visitors with U.D.I.D Card; and army personnel and their accompanying spouses and children on production of ID Cards for each,
iii) Garden ticket does not entitle entry to the museum building.
Other Attraction:
Near the entry gate you can enjoy horse riding and enjoy 360 degree view of Victoria memorial. Charge is Rs. 500.
History of Victoria Memorial:
विक्टोरिया मेमोरियल हाल या संक्षिप्त में सिर्फ विक्टोरिया मेमोरियल, भारतीय राज्य पश्चिम बंगाल के कोलकाता नगर में स्थित एक ब्रिटिश कालीन स्मारक है। 1906 से 1921 के बीच निर्मित यह स्मारक इंग्लैण्ड की तत्कालीन साम्राज्ञी महारानी विक्टोरिया को समर्पित है। इस स्मारक में विविध शिल्पकलाओं का सुंदर मिश्रण है। इसके मुगल शैली के गुंबदों पर सारसेनिक और पुनर्जागरण काल की शैलियों का प्रभाव दिखाई पड़ता है। इस भवन के अंदर एक शानदार संग्रहालय भी है जहाँ रानी के पियानो और स्टडी-डेस्क सहित 3,000 से भी अधिक अन्य वस्तुएँ प्रदर्शित की गई हैं।
विक्टोरिया मेमोरियल के बगीचे का विस्तार 64 एकड़ (260,000 m²) है। इसका रखरखाव 21 बागवानों की टीम द्वारा किया जाता है I
