The Superior Court of Monterey County operates a Driving Under the Influence Treatment Court offering high-risk offenders the option of rehabilitation instead of incarceration.
This fall, the court received a $600,000 grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration to support its operations for another year.
The court is supported and led by a team of justice partners, including the Offices of Probation, Public Defender, District Attorney, Sheriff, and the Department of Health.
