I'm excited to share this incredible drone footage from my recent shoot in Iceland at the stunning Vesturhorn mountain! In this reel, you'll see breathtaking aerial views of the mountain and the surrounding black sand beaches, as well as a sneak peek at the Viking Village film set located nearby.
The Viking Village at Vesturhorn is a popular film location for productions that require an authentic Viking setting. This fully functional village was built in 2010 and features a longhouse, a blacksmith's workshop, a market, and other buildings that accurately reflect the Viking era. The area surrounding the village is also rich in Viking history and was once home to many Viking settlements.
This drone footage captures the beauty and majesty of Vesturhorn, and the Viking village adds a unique twist to this already stunning landscape. It was an honour to capture this footage, and I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed filming it! Even with the strong winds.
