Bajaj launched yet another model towards the end of 2024, this time the Chetak electric. However, this is called the 35 series and is offered in three different variants. Here’s what each has to offer.
3501
The Chetak 3501 is the top-spec model in the entire Chetak lineup. It is not only the most expensive trim but also the most feature-loaded. Bajaj has priced the Chetak 3501 at Rs. 1,27,243 (ex-showroom, Bengaluru), and it comes with a TFT touchscreen setup. This feature is exclusive to the 3501 and supports smartphone connectivity for navigation, call and music control, SMS and incoming call notifications, and more.
Moreover, the Chetak 3501 gets a front disc and rear drum brake setup. It comes with an onboard charger as a standard offering. Bajaj offers the Chetak 3501 in five colours - Pista Green, Brooklyn Black, Hazel Nut, Indigo Metallic Blue, and Matte Red.
3502
The Chetak 3502, sits below the 3501 and is the second most expensive variant across the portfolio. It is priced at Rs. 1.20 lakh (ex-showroom, Bengaluru). While the 3502 also gets a front disc and rear drum brake setup, it misses out on the touchscreen feature, document storage, and an onboard charger. Instead, the 3502 gets a colour TFT but with all the connectivity features, slight tweaks like turn-by-turn navigation instead of maps, and more.
Bajaj offers the Chetak 3502 in four colours - Indigo Metallic, Brooklyn Black, Matte Charcoal Grey, Cyber White.
3503
Bajaj has revealed much details about the 3503. But what we do know is that is the base model of the 35 series and gets a drum brake setup at both ends. Moreover, the Chetak 3503 also misses out on the TFT and uses a reverse colour LCD. Similar to the 3502, the Chetak 3503 also skips on the onboard charger.
All said, what’s common on the 35 series is the 3.5kWh battery that claims to offer about 153km range (IDC figures) and a top speed of 73kmph. All three models use a monoshock at both ends and get LED illumination, a 35-litre underseat storage, and an 80mm longer seat compared to the other Chetak m
