The small town of Canadian, Texas found itself forever changed on Thanksgiving Day 2016.
That was the day that local teenager Thomas Brown’s Dodge Durango was found abandoned, parked along a rarely used road, doors unlocked but keys missing. Tom had not come home the night before and no one had heard from him.
Over the next several years, right up to today, the efforts of law enforcement and a private investigator uncovered more and more evidence relating to Tom’s disappearance.
But instead of each discovery leading closer to the truth, it seemed that the more that was found, the more confounding Tom’s disappearance became and the more unlikely the suspects that could be involved.
Theories of what could have happened have been proposed by the multiple agencies involved and others close to the investigation.
Most of them have been plausible, but many seemed extremely unlikely. The only thing that is certain about this case, it would seem, is that someone is lying.
