I had a client drop off this '74 @fender Jazz Bass for some work, and now I am going to give it a light level and crown.
This bass had originally come in with severe backbow, even with the truss rod fully disengaged, and I had heat treated it back to form.
This bass also had significant pitting in the frets that I was able to address with the light level. Since these frets are so low (the instrument is definitely due for a refret), I was not able to do a proper level and crown. I also was unable to refret the bass due to time constraints.
Doing the best with what time I had, I was able to get this bass fully prepped for tour!
