BOTCASH and I have been on this journey in music for over a decade—me from Canada, and him from Thailand. We each had dreams of making it, and despite starting on opposite sides of the world, we eventually crossed paths through Monstercat, the label we both looked up to.
When we finally met in Thailand, we realized how much our stories had in common. We had both faced challenges and made sacrifices to get where we are today, so we connected immediately. That night, we started writing a demo together, which felt like the beginning of something special. Later, BOTCASH flew to the U.S. for the first time to support my debut headline show in LA.
In Los Angeles, we teamed up with Casey Cook, an amazing vocalist and songwriter, to create “Never Fall.” The song came to life at Monstercat’s studio and was inspired by the resilience we both needed to keep going. Performing it live for the first time at my show, then having Monstercat sign it, was a dream come true for both of us. It marked an important milestone—a cross-cultural collaboration between a Thai artist making waves at home and one breaking ground in North America.
We wanted to share this journey with you all, so we filmed the music video in Thailand, capturing the struggles and sacrifices it took for us to follow our dreams.
There was no easy path here. I left school to pursue music, while BOTCASH gave up his national university exams, turning down a traditional career. With no backup plans, we worked whatever jobs we could to stay afloat—I took a retail job at the airport, and he worked security at a concert hall—all while staying focused on music.
“Never Fall” is a tribute to everyone who keeps going no matter what. We hope our story reminds you to keep chasing what you love.
