Demonstration of using distillation as a way of separating alcohol from water. We heat the mixture up to 80 degrees Celsius, at which point only the alcohol is evaporating. We trap the vapor in a condensing tube where it condenses back into a liquid and collects in the collecting beaker. We then test the purity by lighting it!
