Nathan Rogers is a Senior 3D Environment Artist at Riot Games. He has worked on Summoner's Rift for League of Legends, contributing such pillars as the Baron Pit and the surrounding walls into which one flashes (with F). He also previously served as the primary environment texture artist on VALORANT.
So strap up and sit down for Episode 2 of the Power Hour, as Nate demonstrates his hand-painting technique and waxes poetic on the role environment plays in storytelling and bringing game worlds to life––but also the importance of balancing all that with the clear need for sub-machine-gun-toting teddy bears.
