Hi Friends, highly recommend visiting Haarlem for a day. We went to the Frans Hals museum, fantastic museum mainly showcasing vibrant local paintings from 400 years ago plus some modern ones from the 20th century. This look off one of the bridges separating old town from outer town. Charming streets with shopping and relaxed wonderful cafes surrounding the Grote Kerk or St. Bavokerk or Cathedral of Saint Bavo. The church is an interesting blend of architecture featuring Neo-Gothic, Neo-Romanesque, Byzantine and Jugendstil features.
