Senior Larrakia elders are worried they'll die before they see a resolution to a dispute over the outcome of Australia's longest running land claim, which has deeply divided Darwin's indigenous community. The deal on the Kenbi claim with the Northern Territory Government was viewed as so important in 2016 that the Prime Minister came to celebrate with traditional owners. But elders who were excluded from the deal remain angry, and they're calling on the Northern Land Council to consider expanding the traditional owner group.
