Today we're forming a concrete entry sidewalk that has an odd shape. We're using some of our favorite DeWALT Tools to get the forms in place. The best thing about having the right tools to do the job is that it makes the job much easier and makes the set-up much faster.
The caretaker of this house decided on the shape of this front entry slab. He laid out the lines and we followed his shape with our 2x6 forms. The DeWALT battery saw (amzn.to/4fDTp8o) made cutting the 2x6s easier and more convenient than dragging around a corded saw.
We always screw our forms together, I feel like it holds the forms tighter than using nails, and it's easier to remove the forms by unscrewing them.
The DeWALT drill driver (amzn.to/40dCFAk) simplifies screwing the forms in place and removing the screws after the pour when we remove the forms.
