Richard is Active Again After Hip and Shoulder Replacement Surgery

Richard’s 40-year career as a police officer demanded a lot of his legs, shoulder and hip and when began to experience pain so severe he couldn’t sleep he sought out Daniel Chan, MD, Chief, Orthopedic Surgery and Sports Medicine, for a minimally invasive, outpatient anterior approach hip replacement. Later, Richard experienced extreme pain in his shoulder and Dr. Chan referred him to his colleague, orthopedic surgeon and shoulder specialist Adam Fokin, MD, for an outpatient anatomic shoulder replacement.
