It’s so easy and adds protein and fiber to your brownies to help blunt the blood sugar spike and help you feel more full.

Following the directions on your cake mix instead of using oil or eggs, you will use a can of rinsed black beans.
To know how much water to use you will follow the directions on how much oil it calls for. If it calls for a 1/3 cup of oil, then you will use 1/3 cup of water. If it calls for a 1/2 cup of oil, then you will use 1/2 cup of water (ignore how much water the box tells you to add).
Blend the water and beans together in your blender. Make sure it blends well.
Then mix the bean mixture with the cake mixture and bake as directed on the package.
Make sure that you grease the pan (or use parchment paper) so that nothing sticks.
I prefer to use brownie mixes that include chocolate chips, because it adds more flavor to mask the beans.
Either way, no one will be able to tell the difference, except that they’ll feel more full than they usually feel after eating brownies.
