Ines de la Fressange said that “the secret to great style is to feel good in what you wear” & I think dressing for joy is so important in developing your own style and having fun with it. Sure there are ways to dress to achieve certain looks or to be perceived a certain way, but style is never so fun as when you enjoy the clothes you put on. This process can take time, to curate a closet that makes you feel good, and to learn to accept whatever you put on your body (I’ve had to work hard at that). Style is always evolving, and it should be enjoyed.
