The Gibson Custom Select 1959 Les Paul Standard, 5A Quilt, Double Whiskey Fade features Custombucker Alnico 3 pickups, both unpotted, in the neck and bridge for authentic vintage tones. It has 2 volume and 2 tone controls with CTS 500K audio taper potentiometers and paper-in-oil capacitors for precise sound shaping. The neck has a '50s Rounded Medium C profile with an Indian Rosewood fingerboard and the body is made from a 2-piece 5A quilt maple top and a 1-piece lightweight mahogany back, with 1-ply Royalite binding and a gloss nitrocellulose lacquer finish. There is no weight relief, providing a solid, traditional feel on your shoulder.
