What is Clone Drone in the Hyperdome VR?
Clone Drone in the Hyperdome is a VR adaptation of the popular game Clone Drone in the Danger Zone. This game takes the core mechanics of the original—arena-based robot combat—and enhances it for virtual reality, allowing players to experience intense melee and ranged battles firsthand.
In the game, players control a human mind that has been uploaded into a robot gladiator body. You fight against other robots in increasingly difficult arena challenges, using swords, hammers, bows, and more. The VR experience immerses players directly into the action, making combat more visceral and dynamic compared to the original flat-screen version.
The Hyperdome version retains the core appeal of the original game but adapts movement, combat, and interactions to fit VR controls, offering new modes and mechanics designed specifically for the immersive medium.
