Lewis Dot Structures and Polarity in Bonds and Molecules: Regents Chemistry REVIEW

There are many topics on the Regents Chemistry exam that show up nearly every year. This video addresses some of those topics. Lewis Dot Structures (Lewis electron dot diagrams, electron dot diagrams, electron dot structures, Lewis structures) are the focus of the lesson. How to draw them for atoms, ions and molecules is covered. Unpaired electrons bond. Paired electrons do not bond. The video also goes over bond type using electronegativity difference as well as polar versus non polar molecules based on symmetry and distribution of charge.
