Lando is no doubt one of if not the best talents on the grid at the moment. Hands down. He has outperformed all his teammates in the past years and has helped take the McLaren team to places nobody expected to be possible.
However, looking at some of his close mates on the paddock, you cannot help but notice that he is not the best positioned. Out of the trio of rookies joining in 2019, both Alex and George have had a shot at being part of the top teams.. Whereas Lando really does not have a clear prospect of such a seat - despite his clear potential.
So it really comes down to... has he made a mistake joining the McLaren back in 2019? Let's find out!
