Khatti Meethi is a special blend of flavors that Indians enjoy. Sweet and sour chutney prepared with Tamarind, sugar, and spices. Tamarind Chutney is also known as Imli chutney (Imli is the Hindi word for tamarind). Tamarind chutney is a spiced, sweet and tangy sauce served with Indian chaat snacks or fried snacks like samosa, kachori or pakoda.
But today we are preparing Khatti Meethi chutney without Tamarind.
We are using Dry Mango Powder in place of Tamarind. Its taste comes same as Tamarind Chutney.
INGREDIENTS:-
DRY MANGO POWDER (आमचूर पाउडर):-2.5 TBSP
ROASTED CUMIN SEED (जीरा भुना हुआ):- 2 TBSP
JAGGERY (गुड़):- 1 CUP
BLACK SALT (काला नमक):-½ TSP
WHITE SALT (सफ़ेद नमक):-1/2 TSP
KASHMIRI LAL MIRCH POWDER/DEGI MIRCH POWDER (कश्मीरी लाल मिर्च पाउडर/देगी मिर्च पाउडर):-1 TSP
