I used to think the key to waking up early was going to bed early.
However, even if I try to sleep early, I often can’t fall asleep until my usual time.
Recently, I’ve been feeling that the trick is to force myself to get up at the first alarm.
Once I’m up, I find myself getting sleepy earlier in the evening. 😚💤
This is the last video of August.
Maybe it’s a remnant of summer vacation, but I still feel a bit sad on the last day of August.
Although the end of summer always brings a sense of loneliness,
seeing autumn flavors on the shelves at the supermarket quickly soothes those feelings... 🤫🍎🍠

*[Breakfast]*
The stick powder is
DAYLILY’s ASIAN SUPER POWDER ~Pre Moon Smooth.
*[Brunch]*
*Corn Soup*
Microwave the corn with the husk on for 5 minutes.
Cut off the stalk end and push the corn out from the top to peel it.
Simmer the grated corn with 180cc of milk and 2 teaspoons of salt.
For the topping, cut the corn after it cools to prevent it from falling apart.
*Pancake Mix*
I used Mitake Orange Page Soy Flour and Rice Flour Pancake Mix.
It was light and delicious.
*Sausage*
I used Kamakura’s Umami-Kiwadatsu Aged Coarse Sausage.
*[Dinner]*
*Yakitori*
Thread chicken thighs with the skin stretched tight onto skewers and grill with the skin side down.
*Tsukune (Chicken Meatballs)*
250g ground chicken, 1/2 white part of a long green onion, 2 sprigs of watercress, 1/2 beaten egg, 1 tbsp mirin, 1 tbsp soy sauce, 1/2 tbsp sugar, a pinch of salt, 1 tbsp cornstarch.
Boil water with 10g kombu and 1 cup of sake, then lower the heat and simmer the meatballs.
Season the broth with mirin, light soy sauce, salt, and pepper to taste.
*Yakitori Sauce*
180ml soy sauce, 180ml mirin, 50g sugar.
Can be stored in the fridge for about a month.
It can also be used as a teriyaki sauce for grilled fish or hamburgers.

▶ABOUT NAMI NO KURASHI
I'm Nami, living alone in Tokyo.
Tokyo is full of sparkle, but I'm living at my own pace!
This is my life as "Nami no Kurashi," a play on words meaning an "ordinary life."
I don’t have any special skills or do anything extraordinary—just sharing my everyday life through vlogs.
I’d be happy if you could watch and relax.
