DO NOT frame another photo until you read this!!!

Ok that was a little dramatic 😂 but I do have some useful tips!

First! Ask yourself this question:

Can the photo (or art work) you want to frame easily be replaced? If it's a recent photo and you still have the digital files, I personally wouldn't be too concerned with the archival qualities of the frame. I'd pick one that fits my aesthetic and proudly display it.

But if that photo is an heirloom or one of a kind, you may want to consider the quality of the frame you choose.

I would select a frame with museum quality glass that has UV protection. I would also choose a frame that had a mat, so the photo never directly touches that piece of glass. These steps will help to protect your photo.
