State Representative Sophie Phillips (DE-18)
Representative Phillips has focused her work on environmental justice throughout the state of Delaware with an emphasis on diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in parks. Over the past few years, she has worked on expanding urban green space in Wilmington, Delaware and in Baltimore, Maryland in partnership with community groups. She has an extensive background in wildlife studies and environmental field work. She loves the outdoors and wants to continue to work on increasing access to environmental careers.
Mayor Gallagher of Bettendorf, IA
Mayor Robert “Bob” S. Gallagher was raised in Bettendorf. He graduated from Bettendorf High School in 1987. He received his BA in Communication Studies and Psychology from the University of Iowa in 1991. He received his Juris Doctorate Degree from Marquette Law School in 1994. Bob has served as Bettendorf’s Mayor since 2012. During his tenure, the city has experienced incredible growth in both residential and commercial sectors, while continuing to provide excellent city services in a financially sound manner. Bob is dedicated to helping Bettendorf reach its full potential.
