In English, when someone says "thank you", we're able to respond to that with "you're welcome!". Going by this, I've been hearing some learners respond to "medaase/meda wo ase" with "akwaaba". I wanted to post this quick video to ask you not to. Please do not respond to a "medaase/meda wo ase" with "akwaaba". "Akwaaba" is only used to welcome people into our homes, countries, towns, etc. and not to respond to thank you messages as done in English.
