Nigel Farage’s right-leaning Reform UK is now only one percentage point behind the current Labour Party, based on a recent survey.
A study conducted by YouGov—its initial analysis of voting preferences since last summer’s general election that brought Labour to power decisively—showed Starmer’s administration at 26 percent of the vote, just one point ahead of the populist group at 25 percent.
The Conservatives, who exited office last summer after a 14-year tenure, have fallen to third position behind Reform, garnering 22 percent of public backing.
Talk’s Julia Hartley-Brewer is joined by commentator Sam Armstrong, and says in her “wildest dreams”, she did not expect Labour “to be this bad” in office.
