This video looks at the inputs and outputs of glycolysis, the Krebs cycle and the electron transport chain, and takes stock of every atom - showing where it comes from and where it goes. Have you have struggled to figure out why 6O₂ go into the electron transport chain but only 6H₂O come out? ... what happened to the other six oxygen atoms? Or what happens to the hydrogens that seem to go missing from glycolysis? In this video I've tried my best to make something really complex as simple as I can. I hope you find it helpful.
