Are Amazon's BEST-SELLING Bike lights even worth it? Ascher vs Victoper

I had a bit of an accident with my nice Nite Rider bike light and now it doesn't work. I did some research, got a couple nice bike lights, but along the way I found these really cheap options on Amazon, so I wanted to see if Amazons top bike lights were even worth buying. This is the ASCHER ultra bright and Victoper vt bl2001.
