Working on handstand? Here’s my favorite drill! 🤸‍♂️

THIS IS SORTA THREE DRILLS IN ONE, BUT IT’S MY FAVORITE DRILL COMBO, AND ONE I DO EVERY DAY! 💁‍♀️

1. Wall hop. If you’re just starting out, and working on your strength, you might spend time here before moving on to the second & third part. ☺️

2. chest to wall. I used to hate walking my chest up to the wall! I wasn’t very strong, it was kind of scary, and I couldn’t hold for more than a second or two. But like anything, the more I did it the better I got, and the more I appreciated how much walking my chest to the wallimproved my handstand! 🙌

3. This last part is the hardest! I highly recommend you record yourself doing it so you can see what your body is doing. But I love how this helps you get that shifting forward motion to get your shoulders over your wrists! Do this enough and you’ll eventually find that sweet spot where the foot at the wall will likely begin to float away! This was the drill where I finally started getting control of what my legs and feet were doing! 🤸‍♂️
