Splendor in Silla---Yeongmyosa Temple Site

Now Heungnyunsa Temple stands on the Yeongmyosa Temple Site. People used to know the Yeonmyosa Temple was in another place. Yeongmyosa Temple was grand and full of unique artifacts created by the well-known Venerable Yangji. The Temple is known as the birthplace of Hyangga ‘Pung-yo’ and the legend of Jigwi, who loved Queen Seondeok and became a fire devil.
