There are two different ways to create the basic shimmy – the hip shimmy and the knee shimmy.
With the hip shimmy, the active movement comes from the hips (obliques) and the knees move passively.
Here is a little tutorial for you – I included my 2 favorite tips to practice the hip shimmy. ❤️
