The Satya Yuga as described in in the Puranas (Vedic Hindu history)

The Puranas describe that humans on the earth go through cycles lasting 4.32 million years each, divided into the Satya, Treta, Dvarpa and Kali yuga periods.
It is understood that the earth was like a paradise during the Satya Yuga. Animals, vegetables and fruits were much larger than they are today and there was no pollution.
Humans or humanoids during that period were not primitive as propagated by evolutionary theory.
During some periods there may have been a variety of so-called primitive races. However, there was also a population of highly divine humans, direct descendants of demigods: even if their population was small.
