So, what do we mean by rectilinear motion? Rectilinear motion is a motion which is moving along a straight line. And this straight line could either be horizontal, vertical or oblique which mean it is moving in a slopping direction, angle or position.
Now to fully understand Rectilinear motion We will take a look at three cases of rectilinear motion which is going to depends on the variation of the speed. And these are
1. Uniformly accelerated rectilinear motion
2. Uniform rectilinear motion
3. Uniformly decelerated rectilinear motion.
