WEDDING PLANNING & PREPARATION during COVID 19 PANDEMIC -- tips, regrets, lessons learned and a lot more!
We cannot deny the fact that the pandemic has caused a lot of plans to change. It has made us schedule, reschedule, plan and re-plan our special day OVER AND OVER AGAIN.
We were supposed to get married last April 2020 during our 14th Anniversary (1 year after the proposal) but it fell on a Holy Week plus COVID-19 PANDEMIC happened. We rescheduled it to December 2020 but the pandemic stretched on and we wanted to have more guests so we rescheduled to April 2021 in the hopes of having our dream wedding. It's April 2021 and things just got WORSE than we hope.
1. The EO limits guests to maximum of 50 PAX
2. NCR is on ECQ again
3. Relatives from abroad cannot go home
4. COVID-19 cases are rising
We cannot WAIT for everything to be PERFECT before we tie the knot. WHO KNOWS UNTIL WHEN THIS PANDEMIC WILL LAST? We decided to push through with a MORE INTIMATE wedding- a far cry from what we imagined.
But with the storm comes a rainbow. We are very grateful because despite all the challenges, THERE WERE A NUMBER OF PEOPLE WHO SHOWED THEIR LOVE & SUPPORT.
