Today, in our sports encyclopedia series we will talk about Cans and Tires.
Cans and Tires game involves players throwing or rolling RC tires on a strip, runway or terrain.
The players use these tires to smash them into tall soda cans.
The basic target for each player is to achieve the longest strip turn and bring as many can downs as possible.
Cans and Tires is an individual sport that involves multiple players competing against each other.
The game takes place in wreckage where relevant tracks are made for the game to take place.
Most of these locations are muddy off road strips, a gapped strip, a miniature river crossing, downhill, beach, rocky strip, in your office, and more.
Players are not allowed to use the downed tires.
The game begins with the player standing on an X mark spot carrying a tire that he will throw.
Players are allowed to use any kind of tire as long as they serve the purpose of a rolling tire.
The player stands in front of the strip and there are cans placed on the other end of the strip.
On the whistle, the player throws the tire to smash the cans.
Players can use multiple tires to execute multiple throws and if they run out of tires they can pick up standing tires and continue.
Once all the cans are down, the player is required to pick up all the tires and use it for the next strip turn.
A guy who is known as the Plane crash seeker is required to stand all the cans where they ended up from collision by facing the down rim of the can to the ground and also write the number of strip turns.
Once the player has finished the strip, he is promoted to the next level where he competes on strip 2.
A player is also allowed to throw 4 tires at the same time, it's called a squadron.
The players take their turn until all the players have rolled.
Once the contest is over, the player that has reached the longest strip wins.
Victory is also declared on the basis of how many cans are downed by each player.
