In this video, I’ll show you how to blend a turbo overdrive into the metal zone to get Metallica’s tone. Is not exact, but it’s pretty close.
I was surprised how clean and sharp the metal zone cleaned up with the turbo overdrive.
This is a boss OD-2 turbo overdrive pedal
You get these on eBay for anywhere from $50-$60
Same thing with the metal zone. You could get these for under 60-70 dollars on eBay.
Definitely look on marketplace for these petals. You don’t have to spend a lot to get a nice tone.
The Waze craft petals are a little more expensive. I would have to say they’re not really worth it. The other custom setting that they have it’s not that great.
