New series alert! I take various items from my shelf and make paintings with different techniques out of them! The first up is with decoart satin enamel. I used to love playing with pearl cells and this was SO MUCH fun to revisit! I think the composition of this one needs a little work and unfortunately it fell off the stand when drying. I am so happy that i found acrylic pouring/fluid art a few years ago. It has helped me in so many ways and it just keeps getting better. This visual arts creative outlet has made me so happy. Recipe:
Base coat and colors:
PM: 70/30% floetrol/gloss medium. 1 part paint to 3 parts pouring medium and water to thin
Satin enamel mixture (poured around the outside): 2-3 ounces artist loft flow acrylic white, 1 ounce satin enamel, 1 ounce gloss medium, 5 ounces US floetrol, 1-2 ounces of water. consistency should be slightly thick (1-2 second trace)
Swipe catalyst: 1 part paint (amsterdam titanium white) to 3 parts Australian floetrol
Canvas size: 20 inch by 20 inch canvases
