Disney100 Opening Logo - The Little Mermaid Live-Action Variant (2023, Fan-made)

Sinopse:

The sequence starts as usual, but we can see that the logo is now tinted in aqua blue to resemble a underwater scenario at the bottom of the ocean, just like in The Little Mermaid original movie from 1989.

Some bubbles appear throughout the sequence as the camera zooms until it goes into a waterfall. When the camera goes up, it then zooms to reveal the castle, but the firework sound effects have been modified and toned down to look like they're underwater.

A big bubble bursts off while the arc in a blue color is formed. Some little and medium bubbles appear while the "Disney100" wordmark is written in platinum silver with "100 YEARS OF WONDER" appearing below the wordmark.

Music/Sounds: The normal theme or fanfare is absent in this variant. Instead, it plays a more softer, quiet and relaxing take on the re-orchestrated theme from the 2006 Disney logo, with most of the orchestral instruments being omitted, except for the woodwinds, glockenspiel, violins, a choir and a harp.

Some new instruments are also included in this new variation of the Disney100 fanfare. Most of the sound effects, especially for the fireworks were made quieter and more muffled from the original logo. A underwater ambience sound is also played within the sound effects throughout the entire sequence in this variant.

Availability: None. It was supposed to be revealed at the Little Mermaid live-action remake from 2022, but no custom variant or music was made for that movie, or it became unused.

I really hope Disney could use this variant when the movie is finally released in 2023.

This video was made using a combination of both KineMaster and Adobe Premiere Pro 2023.
