Storyline...
It's a cinematic adaption of great mythological Shakuntala. Shakuntala, a beautiful maiden living in a Aashram of Kanva Muni accidentlly meets Maharaj Dushyant in the absence of Kanve muni. They falls in love at a first site and gets marry without letting anyone know about it.
Dushyant leaves after a while but promising to take her back to his kingdom and gives her his ring as a token of love. In Dushyant's absence, Shakuntala was dreaming about him and forgets to show proper respect to Muni Durvasa. He gets angry and curses her that your lover will forget you. After repeted plea from Shakuntala, he forgives her but as Shakuntala looses Dushyant's ring accidently, he cannot remember her and throws her out of his court.
Hurt and pregnant Shakuntla returns and gives birth to Bharat great prince on whose name our country is know as Bharat- how the father son and Shakuntala reunites is the story of the movie... ❤ 😍
