Is This the EASIEST Chicken Alfredo Recipe Ever?

Are you craving a creamy delicious Alfredo? Look no further in this video cooking with manual focus will show you how to make a rich, creamy, and delicious Chicken Alfredo. This chicken alfredo is packed with juicy pan seared chicken that is seasoned and cooked to perfection. To compliment the juicy flavorful chicken we created a ultra rich and creamy alfredo sauce that takes this chicken alfredo recipe over the top. In order to get this delicious alfredo pasta recipe its all in the preparation and follow these following steps and you will have a restaurant level chicken alfredo:

1. Prep your chicken breast. Butterfly the chicken breast for faster and even cooking.
2. Seasoning- Choosing the right blend of seasoning will give you the perfect sear when you introduce your chicken to you hot pan. Cajun seasoning is perfect for searing and give it the right amount of heat and flavor. Cajun seasoning is typically used in recipes such as blackened chicken etc.
3. Temperature- Cooking your chicken breast to the right temperature is key. The correct thing to do is to get your chicken breast to a safe temp of 165 degrees. However you will want to cook the chicken breast to about 162 degrees and the carryover temperature will allow your chicken to safely come to 165 degrees and prevent your chicken from over cooking and drying out. Usually after removing the chicken from the heat it can rise 5 degrees or more.
4. Rest- Proper rest will allow your chicken to redistribute its natural juices. Allow your chicken to rest for 7-10 mins while tented in foil. I promise this will be the juiciest chicken you have ever tasted.
5. Cook your pasta Al Dente- Don't over cook your pasta or it will be mushy. Pro tip add salt and a little oil to flavor your pasta and to keep it from sticking to each other. Pro Tip-save a little pasta water for later.
6. Don't burn the sauce- avoid cooking the alfredo sauce on too hot of a heat. A medium heat will do. This will also keep the alfredo sauce from separating.
7. Don't Rush the Sauce- One mistake a lot of cooks make is rushing their alfredo sauce and it becomes a disaster. Take your time and allow the sauce to cook and thicken.
8. Add a little pasta water- Once your sauce is ready and you introduce your pasta to your sauce add a little of pasta water to the mix. This will help the sauce and the pasta to come together in perfect harmony!

After following those steps you will have the best chicken alfredo you have ever tasted and trust me you will put this recipe in your rotation.

Chicken Sear Instructions

Sear Chicken Over High Heat (Notch Below the highest setting) on both Sides 3 mins until golden. Reduce Heat to Medium after sear and allow chicken to cook until it reaches 165˚. Flip chicken occasionally to prevent from burning while pan reduces in temperature. Once chicken has reached 165˚ remove and tent in foil to allow the chicken to redistribute its juices.
