Nirbhay Nirgun is Anirudh Varma Collective's rendition and interpretation of the 15th century Kabir Bhajan, performed live on 7th January at the India Habitat Centre, New Delhi at our recent production - Kahat Kabir. Originally composed by the legendary Pt. Kumar Gandharva, In Nirbhay Nirgun, Kabir describes the journey of a spiritual seeker, pointing out that getting over fear is the first step towards seeking the ultimate. “Nirbhay Nirgun Gun Re Gaunga,” he says, which means, “I will fearlessly sing the attributes of the one without attributes.”
