What’s General Surgery Rotation Like in Med School? #medschool #shorts

It's been a long, long year.
Words cannot describe how transforming that first year of clinical rotations is in med school. You simultaneously feel like you know nothing, while deep down showing patients, and occasionally proving to yourself that maybe you picked up a thing or two as you begin to instinctively recognize subtle signs on the physical exam and learn what the best next steps in management are. So thankful for the highs, lows, and buffalos of this year and for all the residents, attendings, fellow classmates, and most importantly, the patients who have changed my life. Here's to one step closer to Step and the finish line :)
