Los Amigos de la Comunidad increases access for underserved communities throughout the Imperial Valley by building trust and forming meaningful connections. The organization educates community members on how to navigate systems that many of us take for granted, while helping government agencies understand how to better connect with and serve these communities. About Go Human Community History Videos
In response to rising and unacceptable rates of traffic collisions, the Southern California Association of Governments (SCAG) created the Go Human campaign to promote the safety of people walking and biking through direct resources and community engagement. Go Human worked with six community-based organizations to develop community oral history videos that promote transportation safety, mobility justice and the groups and individuals working to solve mobility challenges throughout the region.
Rooted in personal narratives, the videos explore how communities are working to make streets safer and more accessible for everyone. For more information about the Go Human project, visit scag.ca.gov/go-human.
