Narowal is a district in the province of Punjab, Pakistan. It is located in the northwestern part of the province and is known for its agricultural land and cultural heritage. Some notable landmarks in Narowal include the shrine of Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah and the Narowal Fort. The district is also famous for its traditional handicrafts, including pottery and weaving. During the British rule, Narowal was the town of Raya Khas tehsil of the Sialkot District. Narowal District was formed in 1991 when the two tehsils of Narowal and Shakargarh were split off from Sialkot District. The district is administratively divided into the following three Narowal, Shakargarh, and Zafarwal.
