Visual Inertial Odometry (VIO) works by utilizing H1 Pro's cameras, inertial measurement unit (IMU), and odometer. This system doesn't rely on external signals like GPS/RTK.
For the mower to deliver a seamless experience, it needs to consistently understand its position on the lawn and chart its subsequent path. We refer to this technically as "localization and planning." In simpler terms, it's about using visual clues to navigate, especially in areas where unique landmarks might be sparse.
