BIG 3 IN 2023: Punk Hazard – 111 ONE PIECE

Ok so when does One Piece become good again ? I’m not gonna lie, I literally forgot about every single villain in this arc the second it was over Except for Caesar Clown, not because he’s good, but because he’s still relevant later Characters gets a massive 0 out of 2 I love that the arc goes talks about the terrible things the marines do But apart from that it felt so difficult to be invested in the story And I mostly feel like this is setting us up for what’s going to happen later So story gets a 1 The fight between Smoker and Law has a bunch of different techniques and amazing choreography And generally the action sequences are pretty awesome So I’ll give action a 2 The world building could not be better I mean this whole place exists because Akainu and Aokiji fought each other And created an island that’s half frozen half burning world building gets a 2 the animation is pretty consistent but the pacing feels like it’s taking a hit every single arc like Fishman island, this could’ve been so good but I just can’t give it more than 6 out of 10
