The water-cooled DOHC 4-valve single-cylinder engine installed in the GSX-R125 ABS achieves a high-performance engine that balances excellent combustion efficiency, sporty engine characteristics, and high fuel efficiency. In order to find the most efficient combination of bore and stroke for engine performance, as a result of repeated experiments, we adopted an oversquare design of 62mm x 41.2mm. Combustion chambers with two 24mm diameter intake valves and two 21mm diameter exhaust valves optimize the compression ratio to achieve both powerful acceleration and high fuel efficiency.
The cylinder adopts Suzuki's original SCEM (Suzuki Composite Electrochemical Material) plated cylinder. Reduce friction and ensure high heat dissipation, wear resistance, and airtightness. Equipped with a large radiator, it boasts high cooling performance. Adopting a 6-speed transmission, the engine that smoothly rises from low to high rotation is the appeal of GSX-R125 ABS.
