When the Girl Scouts told Cole that he couldn't march in the 2024 NYC VETERANS DAY PARADE, he took his flag, and made his way up to the front of the parade where he was greeted by Mayor Adams, who welcomed Cole with open arms saying "This is what this is all about" putting his arm around him to be photographed by international media.

Cole went on to lead the parade! Being the first person to march up 5th Avenue with thousands looking on. And thousands of veterans and supporters behind.
