Ingredients
Rice 1 cup
Chanadal 1/2 cup
Urad dal 1/2 cup
Pauva 1/4 cup
Fenugreek seeds 1 tsp
Sour curd 1/2 cup
Salt as per taste
Turmeric 1/2 tsp
Green chilli paste 1/2 tsp
Soda pinch
Ground nut oil 1 tsp
Red chilli powder
Method
1. Wash the rice, chanadal, urad dal, pauva, fenugreek seeds 2-3 times with water.
2. Then add enough water and soak it for 3 hr.
3. In jar add mixture, curd and grind to fine
4. Ferment the batter for 8 hr in sunlight.
5. In fermented batter add salt, turmeric, green chilli paste and mix it well.
6. Take out some amount of batter in another vessel, add pinch of soda and mix it in one direction.
7. Add this batter in oil greased plate and on top sprinkle red chilli powder
8. Steam it for 15 min.
9. Cool down, Spread oil on dhokla, cut into pieces
10. Serve it with garlic chutney.
